It is important that traditional nails are used to retain the authentic look and feel of the building as when it was first constructed. Our traditional cut nail products provide the fixing solution.

Galvanized Boat Nails are also referred to as a Flat Point Nail. This nail is traditionally used for boat building in Main-Land Europe (UK & Ireland). These traditional nails are also commonly used for external restoration work and used on Oak Timber Frame Buildings. The boat nail is manufactured in the traditional way as our rose head nails, on the original British machines.

The Galvanised nails are cut from sheet steel same as the traditional cut nail. the galvanised nail features a long tapered shank and a rounded Rose Head. The cut boat nails are then Hot Dipped Galvanised (HDG) to international standards.

HDG is approximatley between 50-55 microns. Not less than 50 microns.
